Erie Pride 2013 Parade & Rally on August 24

On Saturday, August 24, NW PA Pride Alliance, Inc. will put on the Pride Parade & Rally. You can register for the Pride Parade and Rally here.

We will assemble at 12:00 at The Zone Dance Club, 133 W. 18th St for the Pride March. We will step off at 1:00 PM and proceed down State Street to Perry Square at 6th and State Street for the rally. People marching unaffiliated with any particular group are also very much welcome! If you want to march, but aren’t up for marching the entire route, join us anywhere along the State Street route.
The rally in Perry Square begins at 2 PM and will include speakers and performers. Please check in at the registration table when you arrive in Perry Square to get a FREE goodie bag! The rally will include a variety of vendors and information booths. We will also have a Dunk a Drag Queen game.
If your group or organization would like to have an info table at the rally, the cost is $10, which includes a table and two chairs. If you will be selling items, the cost is $25, which includes 1 table and 2 chairs. Additional tables are $10 each. For more info about participation for groups and organizations, browse here.
As for other Pride events, we will be collecting non-perishable items for the Second Harvest Food Bank of NW PA. You may either bring your items with you to the Zone and drop them off before you march, or bring them directly to Perry Square for the rally.blog comments powered by Disqus
