National Banned Book week is October 1 – 7, 2023. This year the NWPA Queer Community is coming together to get Queer books into our community. We will be collecting Books at Journey to a Trauma Informed Life on Tuesday October 3rd from 6pm to 8pm. Addition Books can be dropped off at Journey prior to October 3rd. NWPA Pride will also be Collecting Books at the Meadville Happy Hour on 9/27/23.
All Books Donated will be distributed using the Little Free Library system in both Erie and Crawford Counties following the collection. If you are unable to donate at the event, we suggest placing a new or gently used book in a little free library.
